CE'CILE IS SO FLY

Danger Zone's bad gyal, Ce'Cile has teamed up with renowned producer Scott Storch in collaboration with Beenie Man on the track titled So Fly. The track comes out of the continued relationship with Danger Zone and SoBe Entertainment. Storch, known for his wicked instrumentals and credited with hits such as Lean Back by Fat Joe, Candy Shop and Just a Lil' Bit by 50 Cent as well as Baby Boy by Beyonce and Sean Paul, has also produced for a variety of artists including Dr. Dre, Fat Joe, Nelly, Jadakiss, Christina Aguilera, Nas, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Beyoncé, Brooke Hogan, The Game, Chamillionaire, Chris Brown and many more.

"I have known Scott Storch for a while, he is really cool. I did the So Fly song to a hip hop beat at SoBe while he was producing Brook Hogan; Beenie heard the song and loved it and we decided to collaborate on it after which Scott decided it would be more authentic on a dancehall beat which made it even cooler. JUNIOR REID ENTERS THE DANGER ZONE

Junior Reid's signing with The Danger Zone Music Group / SoBe Entertainment will soon bear fruit with the impending release of his latest album: Junior Reid: The Living Legend to be released through The Danger Zone Music Group / SoBe Entertainment and Leak Records. The album features tracks such as Mo Money, This Is Why I'm hot (remix), Black Roses and Bullet and has already been featured in RollingStone Magazine. Junior Reid will soon release his new single Don't Play Me Dirty also off the upcoming album.

Junior Reid has for over three decades been a regular staple in the reggae and dancehall realm. Beginning his career in the late nineteen seventies when he released tracks such as Human Nature, A1 Lover, and See How Me Black See How Me Shine, Junior Reid has now begun writing a new chapter is his impressive musical history.

Over the years Junior Reid has widened his horizons; his vocals have been used extensively on the hip hop scene. Noted for his collaboration with West Coast hip hop artist The Game on the Billboard hit It's Okay (One Blood), Reid has also appeared on 'Mims' This Is Why I'm Hot (Remix), Fabolous' album From Nothin' to Somethin on the track Gangsta Don't Play and Fat Joe's track More Money to name a few. On November 18, 2007, Reid made another great step in his musical career performed alongside Alicia Keys at the 2007 American Music Awards and is also featured on a remixed version of Alicia Keys' single No One.

Most recently, Junior Reid has done a track with Danger Zone/SoBe entertainment recording artiste Jah Cure titled Hot Long Time and it was through this collaboration that the alliance between Junior Reid and Danger Zone/SoBe Entertainment was minted.

Danger Zone Takes A Journey

Danger Zone's Journey's Riddim has now been officially released and like the pre-released version, which was premiered in the last quarter of 2007, the riddim has attracted support from a wide cross section of the music fraternity and been hailed as one of the best riddims presently on the airwaves. Danger Zone has added some tantalizing instrumentals to the pre-released version and the final product can only be described as immaculate. The Journey's Riddim was produced by Della Danger, Ce'Cile and Jigsy King of Danger Zone Records.

Danger Zone artistes have five songs on the production: Cutty Corn returns with Poochie Loo, Jigsy King and Tony Curtis team up again to present Show Off, Ce'Cile and Jigsy King Plant It, Jah Cure continues his musical Journey and Ce'Cile pledges to Ride or Die. All five tracks boast the high quality and superb production that Danger Zone has become known for.

With Journey, Jah Cure continues to impress with his amazing vocal capabilities. Jah Cure seeks to teach the importance on maintaining ones focus despite the difficulties. He advises not to burn bridges while explaining to his fans that "It's not a journey to get weak". Who better to present this message than the singer who has been through and risen through so many adversities?
Jigsy King and Tony Curtis also teach important lessons on surviving the journey on their track Show Off. Jigsy Kings and Tony Curtis make a good team with their vocals, complementing each other perfectly. Show Off is the first release by Jigsy for 2008 and is a good follow up to Pon di Corner which commanded the airwaves last year.

One of the other gems on the Journey's Riddim by Danger Zone is Ride or Die by Ce'Cile. Ride of Die presents Ce'Cile in a new flavour; the artiste who is known for her sometimes controversial dancehall tunes returns with a smooth and lyrically superior track.

"The Journey's project reminds me of the Jamdown project, I say this because of people's positive reactions to the production. Also featuring on the Journey's Riddim is Cutty Corn with his track Poochie Loo. Poochie Loo signals the maturity of the young Cutty Corn. The artiste who came on the scene in 2008 with Lucky Day on the Jamdown Riddim and then reaffirmed his position as a reggae and dancehall staple with No Boops on the remake of the Solidarity Riddim holds his own with Poochie Loo.

An added bonus on the Journey's Riddim is Ce'Cile and Jigsy King with what can be considered a masterpiece. Ce'Cile and Jigsy King decide to Plant It. Contrary to generic run of the mill weed songs, Plant it presents itself as a succinct ode to the herb and Ce'Cile and Jigsy King's are at one on the track with Ce'Cile's sexy tones and Jigsy's gritty choral blending to make an intoxicating collaboration.

Also on the Journey's riddim is Lutan Fyah, Queen Ifrica, Tony Rebel, Jr. Reid and Morgan Heritage among others. The project will be released by SOBE Records/Danger Zone Records, under their new alliance and distributed through Fontanna, part of the Universal Music Group.

Danger Zone Continuing to Bring Unification Through Music

The Danger Zone Music Group emerged in the year 2000 out of a need to provide positive and quality music to the masses. Another of the artistes signed to Danger Zone is veteran artiste Jigsy King who has maintained a presence on the Dancehall scene for many years. Jigsy King came on the scene with his smash hit Rail Up right out of the gate in 1993, his second big hit, Gal A Fuss Gal A Fight established him as a rising star, and the song's combination of the 'matey' phenomena with gritty commentary confirmed him as one of the best songwriters in dancehall till today. Recently Jigsy King has been busy both in the studio and on the stage with current hits such as Pon Di Ends, Plant It and Show Off on the 'Journey's Riddim' as well as Extra Clip on the 'Sting 93 Riddim' produced by Scatta.

Danger Zone is also nurturing new talent and has two of the most exciting new prospects on the dancehall scene. Rass Fraser and Mickey Pelpa are two of the young artistes on the Danger Zone Label, both are honing their skills and are destined to take the reggae world by storm.

Danger Zone Records is known for putting out quality music and over the years has released numerous tracks and tunes that have won the hearts of both local and international reggae fans. The latest riddim from Danger Zone is the 'Journeys' Riddim', Produced by Jigsy King, Della Danger and Cecile. The Journey, features Journey by Jah Cure, Cecile's Ride or die, Plant It by Jigsy King featuring Ce'Cile, Show Off by Jigsy King & Tony Curtis, and Poochie Loo by Cutty Corn.

The Journeys Riddim follows on the successful heritage of Danger Zone which in 2007 premiered two hit riddims with numerous hit songs stemming from them. The 'Jamdown Riddim' won the Best Reggae Compilation Album at the recent RIAJAM awards giving Della Danger the Executive Producer's Award. Danger Zone also premiered the 'Payback Riddim' which featured a good mix of 19 tracks featuring some of Jamaica's hottest dancehall names.

Cutty Corn: "Music is my life"

Born August 20 1976, Cutty Corn A.K.A. Oneil Omar Samuels has been around the music for as long as he can remember. From the early days at Tivoli High and Denham Town Primary Cutty could be seen entertaining fellow classmates on the corridors and in classrooms. He spent his spare time after school performing to his friends and perfecting his talent along with the regular school and community concerts. Before going mainstream Cutty Corn was Lead Singer of the Midtown Band, which was an offshoot of the Alpha Boys band.

Cutty Corn has music in his blood, as he is the cousin of renowned dancehall artist Cutty Ranks. Although relatively new to the mainstream music scene, Cutty Corn has been on the big stage since the mid nineties. With shows such as Champions in Action, West Kingston Jamboree and Island Explosion just to name a few under his belt, Cutty Corn has been dubbed one of the emerging talents of 2007.

Cutty Corn has nurtured his vocal talent through years of performances and by following good examples from his favourite artistes who he names as Bob Marley, Sanchez and Wayne Wonder.
Cutty Corn Started recording in the year 2000 and has released several songs that have received credible reviews from the industry. In 2006 he recorded the song "She Gone" on the Errol Dunkley Ghetto Vibes Label and also "Hustling" Ft Vegas produced by Gary G, he later did "Penitentiary Cry" on the Beat Love Rhythm for the Chilla Label. "Penitentiary Cry" received good airplay but was bettered by "Lucky Day" on the Jamdown Rhythm for Danger Zone Records released in early 2007.

Despite working with some of the best producers in the business such as Jigsy King and Della and having received regular airplay along with being a staple in the dancehall, Cutty Corn has just recently made the transition from the underground scene to the mainstream and now believes he has lived a life of music.
